Handwoven Fabric Sale at Laura & Kiran

Friday was the first time I'd ever been inside the Berkeley showroom for Laura & Kiran, a firm which imports fabric -- mostly handwoven.  I stumbled onto their spring sale, which is on for several more days.

Above is an interesting ikat fabric.

The store's website is, and they're located only a few blocks from New Pieces, at the corner of Page and Fourth in Berkeley (if you are on Gilman, Page is one block south and parallel).  I found street parking without difficulty.

I didn't buy anything ... yet.
