Don't miss Innovations in Fiber Art VI, an international exhibit of the Surface Design Association (www.surfacedesign.org) and the Sebastopol Center for the Arts (sebarts.org). Admission is free; donations are appreciated. The exhibit opened on October 24th and will close on November 30th, at SebArts: 282 S. High Street, near the intersection of Hwys 12 and 116 in downtown Sebastopol. Jurors Joan Schulze and Susan Taber Avila selected 58 pieces from over 500 submissions by an international field of entrants. EBHQ member Alice Beasley is included. It's a fine exhibit of new work, and delightful to find it so close. Well worth the drive to Sebastopol, which is beautiful on its own this time of year!
